In the first image ANNABELL is wearing an orange jacket made of a custom-developed silicone fabric and orange sunglasses (privately owned). In the second image she is wearing a black pleated silk organza skirt with orange stich detailing, a draped tartan top and sunglasses (privately owned).
Cardboard box collection was an investigation about shape. In order to find a new shape language, extensional forms were build up around the body. These forms were casted with fabric as a way to re-invent the traditional way of draping. Working with opposites achieves a vivid play between soft and hard, transparent and impenetrable and solid and fragile. These oppositions were translated into fabrics and silhouettes.
